Additionally, she held creative positions at Polaroid Corporation, McBer and Company and the Slide Center in Boston. Silva earned her graphic design degree BFA at Massachusetts College of Art, where she completed her thesis in corporate branding and visual communication. Over her 33-year career, she has won a variety of awards in brand development, art direction and illustration. Silva is a board member to a number of professional and civic organizations in Chicago and Northwest Indiana. She has also been a guest speaker at various universities and business organizations.
